<div dir="auto">Giulia Drummond a singer-songwriter from Brazil based in Edinburgh. Her project is called Magical Music, and she also teaches singing in a very magical approach.</div>
<div dir="auto">Giulia&rsquo;s teaching draws on music from different roots &ndash; not only from Brazil and other South American countries, but also Celtic, Indian, Hebrew, Romani, Sefardi, amongst others. She also integrates sounds from nature, the animals, the wind, water, in a way to show that sound carries healing and even magical properties, a knowledge that has been explored by many ancient cultures.</div>
<div dir="auto">Giulia has a degree in Psychology and has worked in mental health for nine years, so she approaches music and singing not only as a performative activity, but also therapeutic.</div>
<div dir="auto">The idea is to find your own voice, surrendering to the flow of the body and notice how the body wants to sing. With breathing and vocal exercises you will develop a heightened awareness of your voice and how the whole body can assist in your singing.</div>
<div dir="auto">Giulia will also introduce you to a repertoire of chants and songs. All these practices are an invitation to discover the many facets of your voice and being.</div>

What is YIN yoga...
Yin yoga is my absolute favorite type of yoga because for me it completely relaxes and grounds me, relieves anxiety/stress, and increases circulation. I also like to hang out low on my mat and with Yin, I always seem to have a good night&#39;s sleep the day I practice but don&#39;t just take my word for it as yin is known to also...

Yin poses are typically held for 2 to 3 minutes (can be much longer but not within this class). laying quietly holding an asana/pose can also prove a little challenging for some of us as it becomes an internal process as we learn to sit with different emotions and feelings that arise within the mind and body.

Yin Poses target the connective tissue of the body; joints, bones, ligaments, and fascia. Poses can mainly work on the lower parts of the body; hips, pelvis, lower spine, and inner thighs.
 
My aim is to offer a very welcoming, safe, and restorative environment. Our class will start promptly at 7:45 pm and finish at 8:45 pm. I ask that you please attend 5 minutes before the start of our class but no earlier than 7:40.

We have equipment available such as yoga mats and blocks available to use.

Our Peripheral IV Cannulation Course and Injection Course training kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available for you to add at time of booking. Training kits mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video instructions, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for your one full day to complete your cannulation and injection course training.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your cannulation course and one for your injection course. Complications of pVAD insertion including examples of
infiltration, haematoma, extravasation and transfixation.
6 - VIP Score:
Understanding and using the Visual Infusion Phlebitis score.
7 - Equipment - overview:
We take a look at all essential equipment required for PIVC.
8 - PRACTICAL SESSIONS:
Multiple practical sessions throughout the session.
9 - Fluids:
The importance of understanding fluids. Includes detailed overview of: maintenance fluids, Hartmann’s solution, Colloids (and risks), blood products.
10 - Infusion Rates:

Most of the meditations are around twenty minutes in length, with a suggested 15 minutes after the audio&nbsp;meditation for journalling or reflecting on your prayer experience.&nbsp; Further Details and CommitmentThe times listed on the sign up link above reflect the time for the group calls. Please be aware of your local time zone. I work in the UK and times may be listed for GMT.&nbsp;&nbsp;There will be one call before the retreat begins, and one at the end of each week, for a total of 5 calls.&nbsp;There will be a maximum of six participants in the group. Please check that you are able to attend all of the group sessions before you apply.The daily prayer can be done at any time that suits you but, if you don&#39;t already have a 30-45 minute window of time devoted to prayer each day, do take some time to think about when you might fit it in, for example: will you wake up earlier? Will you do it at lunch time? in the evening? How realistic is this? &nbsp;Is there a place in your house where you could sit to pray? Will&nbsp;those you share space with will be able to respect your commitment to the retreat? This won&#39;t be for everyone, but for those who are drawn to take part in this prayer experience, I have no doubt that it will be a positive and enriching time. I am really looking forward to sharing this space with you.&nbsp;
