You will initially use the chain stitch and how to cast on and off the fabric. <li>Creating a knitted patchwork.</li>

<p>The session includes a worksheet, knitting demonstrations, plus a PowerPoint presentation covering plus graduation dyeing with Procion MX Cold Water dyes.&nbsp; There will also be a range of samples, to inspire further exploration after the session.</p>

<p>Aimed at anyone with an interest in textiles and soft sculpture, the workshop examines the artistic potential of knitting.&nbsp; The emphasis is on creating experimental samples, rather than a finished piece, although techniques can be adapted to create a garment, accessory or household object.</p>
