I enjoy social media, impactful events along with creating memorable days. I love IT and became a Project Director and have worked on projects to help the community, locally and internationally. Healing with Yoga for embodied living with Pippa Graham is Yoga taken gently and deeply, guiding you home to your whole self.  I offer enjoyable, transformative Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation for beginners and improvers.  I run workshops in North London, regular weekly zoom/in-person classes for Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation, zoom courses for Yoga and Mindfulness and one-to-one Yoga on zoom/in-person.   I have been teaching for 30 years and although I draw on many different resources, my work is Scaravelli inspired and deeply somatic. By this I mean, you don't have to be able to touch your toes and get everything right!  Whilst I give clear and detailed instructions, you are invited to simply feel and experience what is happening in your body as we move or sit.  This is about moving into your own presence, out of your head and into your heart. I also integrate Energy Medicine inspired by Prune Harris and Donna Eden.  I have trained with the Inner Yoga Trust, Birthlight and Mindfulness CIC and have practiced yoga since I was a teenager.

Between 1998-2002 I have studied and graduated Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture, Herbology and Tuina) in an incorporate study program between Reidman International College for Complementary and Integrative Medicine and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China. During these 4 years of study I was privileged to be exposed to many different methods of healing and therapy and took additional classes outside the TCM frame. I’ve graduated Shiatsu therapy and practised daily Qi Gong and meditation. This is when I first experienced and immediately fell in love with Yoga. In 2012, 14 years into my Yoga practice of different styles, I decided that I'm ready to share my love for Yoga, and embarked on many different training: Vinyasa, Prana Flow, Teen Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Naada Yoga including Gong Mastery, Sound Energy Medicine and Kirtan leadership. I am now teaching my own style, a combination influenced by my many teachers and incorporating the full range of disciplines I studied over the years. My aim is to create a space where we can practice yoga in its many aspects and at any level. A place where one can focus on one’s Self and feel safe and capable to allow physical, emotional and spiritual growth.

Catherine Annis is well known for her imaginative and practical approach to yoga. Originally a professional dancer, she discovered yoga as a teenager, and has been  practising since the mid 1970s. In 2017 she created the  Intelligent Yoga Teacher Training Course [http://www.intelligentyogateachertraining.co.uk/], an anatomically focused course, with world leading guest teachers, including Gary Carter.   Catherine’s yoga practice and  teaching focuses on strategies for downregulating the nervous system, working with breath and subtle somatic movements to soothe the mind and create more physical ease for those working with pain, stress and anxiety.  She holds a Masters degree in ballet studies, and is a qualified Thai massage practitioner and it is this interest in the body which informs and inspires her teaching.  For more, visit her at:  http://www.CatherineAnnisYoga.co.uk [http://www.catherineannisyoga.co.uk/] Catherine taught in London's leading yoga studios and teacher training courses for nearly 20 years before moving to Exmoor, where she now lives with her husband and dog.  Her main focus is wellbeing, in particular how yoga and breathing help down-regulate our nervous system, providing inner calm and relaxation to those working with pain, stress and anxiety. ABOUT OUR TEACHINGS There is one very powerful way to demystify any assumptions or preconcepts you might have about Kundalini Yoga: come and try it!  Everybody is welcome to our classes whether you are intrigued by kundalini, just started your journey or already familiar with it.  The practice is open to all levels and we aim to create the space for an authentic body and mind experience.  We practice dynamic sequences of exercises called kriyas, which are not complicated postures that take years to master, actually the opposite.  Most of the asanas are simple movements structured in sequences, with breathing technique and mudras –hands gestures. A meditation and mantras or music, or both are always part of the experience.   One single class might already leave you with a subtle sensation of wellbeing beyond the physical usual relaxation of any workout, as if you are slightly floaty and at peace in yourself.
