This is a very practical, hands-on course that takes participants through a series of exercises which help users understand the Power BI<sup fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">&reg;</sup>&nbsp;environment, how to use the key areas of functionality, and how to apply the tools it contains to design and produce analyses of their own data.</p>
<p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">The first two days focus on learning the key concepts and practising these using clean, simple datasets.&nbsp;The third day provides participants with the opportunity to apply what they&#39;ve learned to their own data. This makes the course far more relevant and meaningful for them, it allows our facilitator to help them structure their data models, queries and DAX formulas correctly, and it allows our facilitator to help them solve any additional problems that may arise but which were not covered as part of the standard the course. In addition, at the end of the day, each participant walks away with something of real, practical use for their job role. Many previous participants have remarked that they obtained the most value from the course during the third day because otherwise, they wouldn&#39;t be able to do what they need to do.</p>

<p>The VILT course will be delivered online in <strong>5 half-day sessions comprising 4 hours per day</strong>, with 2 breaks of 10 minutes per day. It is the intention to have at least 2 smaller exercises per day. Time will be reserved for recapitulation, questions and discussions.</p>
<p>VILT will be conducted either via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Presenting materials can easily be done on this platform. When participants need to ask a question, they can raise their hand, write notes or interrupt the Instructor by using their microphone. The presenter can switch to a screen where he/she can see all participants (also when each participant is sitting in another location e.g. at home). There is also a whiteboard functionality that can be used as one would use a flip chart. Exercises will be done on an online platform which provides each participant with a private work area that can be accessed by the Instructor to discuss the exercise in a similar manner as in a classroom course.</p>

<p>Dr. Jan de Jager has a PhD in Geology from the University of Utrecht. He joined Shell in 1979 as an exploration geologist, and worked in several locations around the world such as Netherlands, Gabon, USA, Australia, Argentina, and Malaysia in technical and management positions. During the last 10 years of his career, he was responsible for the quality assurance of Shell's exploration prospects in many parts of the world and for upgrading and replenishing Shell's global exploration portfolio. During this period, he had also developed extensive expertise in Prospect Risk and Volume assessments for which he ran successful internal training programmes. Following his retirement from Shell in 2010, Dr Jan de Jager took on a position as part-time professor at the University of Amsterdam and also serves as a consultant exploration advisor for various E&amp;P companies.</p>

<p>Governments, regulators and energy companies are pursuing CO<sub>2</sub> storage technologies to meet their net-zero carbon commitments as well as targets set by the international Paris Agreement on climate change. For successfully executing Carbon Capture &amp; Storage (CCS) projects, various technical, operational, economic and environmental risks and associated stakeholders need to be managed.</p>
<p>In this <strong>5 half-day Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) course</strong>, the methods for managing risk in CCS projects are addressed <u>with a focus on CO<sub>2 </sub>injection and storage.</u> The VILT course will also demonstrate how to assess storage capacity of a potential CO<sub>2</sub> storage reservoir, model framing techniques, and well injectivity issues related to CO<sub>2</sub> injection. He has had assignments in Production Technology, R&amp;D, Production Chemistry, Rock Mechanics and Reservoir Engineering cEOR, with a proven track record in technology screening, development and deployment, field development planning, conceptual well design and Production System Optimization (PSO) of gas and oil fields as well as preparing Well, Reservoir &amp; Facility Management (WRFM) strategies and plans. He had also worked on assignments in NAM and did fieldwork in Oman, Gabon and Shell Nigeria. He is a skilled workshop facilitator. He discovered his passion for teaching following an assignment in Shell Learning. During his time in Shell, he developed and taught technical courses to Shell professionals via blended learning.</p>

<p>Your second expert course leader has over 30 years of experience identifying, assessing and mitigating technical risks with Shell. The main focal point of his experience is in subsurface and Geomechanical risks. He is the the founding father of various innovations in how we assess risks by tool development (for bore hole stability, 3D geomechanical field evaluations and probabilistic assessment). He also developed an eye for people motivation, change management and facilitation. He was also responsible for the Geomechanical competence framework, and associated virtual and classroom training programme in Shell for 10 years.</p>

Online MHFA England Adult Mental Health First Aid Course. 
Download brochure for course details here.  This online version of the mental health first aid course will offer the same learning outcomes as the face to face training, and every person who completes the course will be certified as a Mental Health First Aider. The Online Mental Health First Aid course is a blended approach of individual learning and four instructor-led live sessions, hosted on a new Online Learning Hub. As a training course, Mental Health First Aid teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. The organisation's courses and resources also promote self-care as a vital way for people to help protect their mental health and prevent issues from getting worse. As with all our courses at Mindmaps Wellbeing, your course will be delivered by a Registered Mental Health Nurse, MHFA England Instructor and Open University Associate Lecturer and Practice Tutor experienced in remote teaching. Our live online learning will also include an assistant who is a MHFAider. Our fee is £300pp Groups of 5+ contact info@mindmapswellbeing.com for reduced group fees. Live instructor led sessions; 10:00 – 12:30 & 14:30 – 17:00 both days Individual learning modules around these times.
