It is not expected that candidates working in this industry all do the same activities or use the same equipment and machinery so the qualification has been developed to make it as widely available as possible by having 2 distinct pathways. To provide this opportunity in addition to the relevant mandatory pathway units of installation of the relevant system (roof and wall sheeting and cladding or rainscreen wall cladding systems) , candidates will also be able to select optional units recognising skills including, repair and/or refurbishment of roof sheeting/cladding/rainscreen systems, working with boom and/or scissor type mobile elevating platforms (MEWPs), installing solar collectors, use of ergonomic manipulating machines or slinging/signalling the movement of loads. The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 3, although some units may be at different levels, qualifications at this level are primarily aimed at those who are fully trained and experienced in a wide range of roles that may involve decision making, quality checks, work planning and dealing with non-routine or complex installations. This qualification is aimed those who carry out supervisory activities in a specific trade in the Construction Industry. The qualification certificate will carry an endorsement to show what trades the candidate was supervising during completion of this qualification. The qualification has been developed at the request of and in partnership with OSCAR OSNITE https://oscaronsite.co.uk [https://oscaronsite.co.uk/] The OSCAR and this qualification are recognised by a number of UKAS Certification bodies, industry bodies, Local Authorities and industry stakeholders. Prior to registering on this qualification, individuals must be registered with OSCAR. The clearance pathway enables individuals to carry out the extraction of cavity wall insulation to create a clear cavity that can be reinsulated or insulated if the system has been used to remove debris only. Candidates must also prove knowledge and competence to create a clear cavity to be able to facilitate External Rendering and External Wall Insulation complying with current Building Regulations. All work must be completed following safe working practices, relevant legislation, and comply with contract information and the allocated timescales. The surveyor/inspection pathway requires candidates to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to interpret information to be able to carry out a Cavity Clearance survey in accordance with the job specifications, following safe working practices and within the allocated time. CORPORATE TRAINING There are currently 13 million women going through menopause in the UK.  4.3 million of them are aged between 45-55 years old, which is the fastest growing demographic in the workforce SB Wellbeing provides training for companies who are serious about providing support for their female staff going through menopause. Also, up-skilling managers and leaders on what they need to know.  Manager training includes what menopause is, how it can affect the individual at work, as well as the bigger picture of how it can impact the business, and how best to support them.    Colleague training is for anyone going through menopause or supporting someone who is.  It's fully inclusive and highly interactive.  The two programmes can be run back to back or separately and be delivered via webinar or in-person.
