It was during her time in private practice that she realised that for every client that walked through the door she wasn’t always the most appropriate therapist. No counsellor can be all things to everyone. Counsellors have different specialisms but may also not be the right match in terms of gender, age, ethnicity etc Carol set up JHD with the aim of building up a team of counsellors as an organisation with the aim to ensure each and every client was matched to the most appropriate therapist in the team. We offer an initial free 15 minute consultation for both individuals and businesses For Individuals: Our service is UK wide and we offer support between 9am and 9pm 7 days a week by Zoom (or similar alternative). 1:1 consultations take place at our Darwen, Lancashire office. For businesses: We provide onsite or Zoom-delivered training and workshops, as well as bespoke wellness support packages for your teams.

coastal child and adult therapeutic services

Coastal Child and Adult Therapeutic Services (CCATS) has extensive experience and a successful track record of providing psychological assessment and treatment services for children, young people, adults and families. We work throughout the north of England, covering a wide area including Lancashire, Manchester, Cheshire, Yorkshire and beyond. We work in partnership with many organisations including the NHS, social care, Youth Offending Teams, GPs and schools. Specialist services for looked after children are provided in partnership with carefully selected children’s residential care providers. Services have been commissioned not only by the residential care sector but also by over 30 local authorities and NHS commissioning groups from across the UK. We work with legal practices, acting in accordance with instructions from the Courts. Self-referrals are also accepted.
