This course has been designed to guide the complete beginner or act as a refresher for those who may have dabbled in Blackwork embroidery in the past.
We will cover the history, styles of Blackwork embroidery, threads and techniques.

Collage is a way of creating a visual work of art by combining different elements - be they found images, patterns, bits of text, textured papers - in new and sometimes unexpected ways. To prepare for the workshop, you&rsquo;ll start collecting various bits of paper that you come across in your daily life. - LIVE a review of everyones Treasure Hunt (NB You will recieve the Treasure Hunt on Sunday 29th of September. The Treasure Hunt is specifically designed to get you outside and engaging directly with the natural world, as well as creating opportunities to put your learning into practice).

- Treasure Hunt: Participants will receive a list of items to find over the two-week period. Items may include specific plants, animal tracks, insects, etc.

- Review of Treasure Hunt findings.
