During this two day experience you&rsquo;ll discover how to upcycle with pallets, transforming them into custom pieces for your home.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="font-size: 16px; color: var(--text); box-sizing: border-box;">On day one you&rsquo;ll learn how to source materials and discover the tools and techniques you&rsquo;ll need to prepare them for upcycling. Once Scott has introduced you to the workshop tools, you&rsquo;ll use a mix of hand and power tools to create your own piece of furniture. What you make is your choice, from a shoe or wine rack to a storage box, bird feeder or even a small bookcase.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="font-size: 16px; color: var(--text); box-sizing: border-box;">For your second day you&rsquo;ll be creating a one of a kind lamp from palettes. You&rsquo;ll put the skills you learnt on day one to use, before discovering how to decorate your creation. Your experience host will first show you how to safely work with a variety of hand and power tools, including angle grinders, which you&rsquo;ll use to make your garden creation. <p>I teach individuals and small groups. I love working with people on their projects and offer tuition every week. Sessions usually last for a 4 or 8 hour period.&nbsp; You're welcome to book in any day except Saturdays please.</p>
<p>We make diaries, artist sketch books and restore old well loved books giving them a new lease of life. Please take a look at my website for a full portfolio of my restoration work.</p>
<p>I have been working as a conservation bookbinder for 10 years. I trained at Dartington College and studied an MLitt in Museum and Gallery studies at The University Of St Andrews. I have a PGCE and have taught bookbinding at schools, museums, art colleges and festivals.</p>

- LIVE a review of everyones Treasure Hunt (NB You will recieve the Treasure Hunt on Sunday 29th of September. The Treasure Hunt is specifically designed to get you outside and engaging directly with the natural world, as well as creating opportunities to put your learning into practice).

- Treasure Hunt: Participants will receive a list of items to find over the two-week period. Items may include specific plants, animal tracks, insects, etc.
Live Component:
- Review of Treasure Hunt findings.
- Identification and discussion of items found.
- Closing remarks and feedback session.
