The qualification is aimed at learners already working or preparing to work in industry that is identified within the company's risk assessment of First Aid. The qualification has a recommended course duration of 3 days; however the course duration may be increased to meet additional learning needs if required but not reduced.

This course is designed to provide leaders with an understanding of the principles of coaching and its significant value in supporting and empowering their teams. Participants will explore various leadership and coaching models, tools, and exercises. They will learn how to adopt and apply a coaching approach to conduct effective one-on-one meetings with employees, understand communication approaches that build confidence, and develop coaching techniques that empower others. Course Objectives By the end of this course, participants will be able to: Understand the foundational principles of coaching and its importance in leadership. Explore and apply various leadership and coaching models, tools, and exercises. Conduct effective one-on-one meetings with employees using a coaching approach. Utilise communication strategies that build confidence and trust.
