This specialist training is required for anyone leading a canvas type camp. Renewal is on a 5-year basis for which continued camp service and practical experience during that time can qualify on the basis of log-sheet records being provided to BBUK Headquarters. The course covers the practicalities of running a camp including Pre-Camp Preparation & Planning, Cooking Equipment & Accommodation, Sanitation & Safety and a practical element working with tents. The venue for the course is still to be confirmed.
