It was likely to be a place where you felt you belonged, somewhere you enjoyed going to and that charged you with energy; you were probably encouraged to achieve goals beyond what you thought was possible. It was fun, perhaps even exciting.</h4>
<h4>Now think about the opposite. Maybe a team where conflict was rife, a place where people are afraid to speak openly and honestly. Work is stressful, the business is failing and your customers are unhappy. You were probably actively on the lookout for something better.
You may have experienced both scenarios or neither. But we can probably predict which scenario you preferred. An effective team doesn't come into existence by accident. There are lots of things you can do to make your team a high-performing one.
It begins with clearly defined roles for your team members that will help keep them on track and achieve their targets. Observing them at work will identify their strengths and weaknesses, which will enable you to match training to their learning styles and get involved in their learning by coaching them.</h4>
<h4>You can also help your team members get to know one another better and build trust with team activities. Help to develop their skills and experience by delegating some of your tasks, and by ensuring that everyone can take on tasks by cross-training them in one another's roles.</h4>

Charlotte has been teaching and hosting workshops since 2013. Come along, design and make your very own silver pendant in this three and a half hour workshop. In this workshop you will have the chance to design your own pendant and Charlotte will take you through the making process step by step. Either cutting out shapes from sheet silver or manipulating wire, you will make your pendant from start to finish.Designing and creating shapes using a piercing saw to cut out your design and finishing. You&#39;ll have the option to apply texture using hammers and stamps and will also get to try techniques like doming and forming to make 3D forms. In the process you&#39;ll discover how to solder on jump rings - and you&#39;re more than welcome to come along with your own design ideas. Charlotte encourages experimenting in copper before moving into the final design process.&nbsp;At the end of your experience you&#39;ll finish with a bespoke, handmade pendant, which Charlotte will have a silver chain for you to wear it from.&nbsp;If you are interested in a two to four person workshop, please do get in touch and Charlotte can arrange this for you.

Taking our inspiration from everyday objects, (cups, bowls etc) collections &nbsp;of natural forms (shells, feathers, leaves) or other types of personal memorabilia as a starting point for developing themes we will create our own layered, collage and stitch &lsquo;Still Life&rsquo; or &lsquo;Landscape/Nature Study&rsquo;
Found paper, fabric scraps and found materials will be combined with transferring of images and stitch as a means for informing work for the development of new ideas. These will be constructed on a small canvas .
Please bring to the workshop:
A waterproof pen, scissors, regular sewing thread, pins and needle. &nbsp;A few hand threads in your preferred colour range
Small portable kit of painting media you may like to use (can be watercolour, Koh I Noor, Inktense whatever you have)
Also useful is a camera for documentation, notebook, drawing media.
Sewing machine with free motion capability (optional). Embroidery hoop.
Collection of waste papers and gathered fabric scraps: Examples. Brown wrapping paper or large brown envelopes, tissue paper, patterned paper bags, photocopies of images relating to your theme, magazines, oriental specialist papers, prints, lace, scraps of cotton, linen, silk fabrics with or without prints- various sizes. All should fit into one small bag
PPE (face shields, gloves and aprons) and hand sanitiser will be available for all of our workshops.

Our intention for the Wild Finca Online Rewilding Retreat is to help you strengthen your connection with nature. We achieve this by enhancing your knowledge of the natural world and offering both inspiration and practical suggestions on how to incorporate the concept of ‘Rewilding’ into your own life.
Course Structure:

Week 1

Session 1: Introduction to Wild Finca Habitats
Date & Time: Wednesday 2nd October (9pm CET)
- LIVE with mini film inserts (an intro to the different habitats we have here, and a Q&A about habitats near to you)
Pre-recorded Mini Film:
- Introduction to the different habitats at Wild Finca.
- Visual tour showcasing various ecosystems.
Live Component:
- Q&A session about habitats near you. Participants can share information and ask questions about their local environments.
Objectives:
- Understand the variety of habitats at Wild Finca.
- Learn to identify and appreciate your local habitats.


Session 2: Wildlife at Wild Finca
Date & Time: Friday 4th October (9pm CET)
- LIVE with mini film inserts (the wildlife we have here, migration and local fauna)
Pre-recorded Mini Film:
- Presentation on the wildlife at Wild Finca.
- Focus on both migratory species and local fauna, highlighting unique behaviors and adaptations.
Live Component:
- Interactive discussion on wildlife spotting tips and ethical wildlife observation.
Objectives:
- Gain knowledge about the diverse wildlife at Wild Finca.
- Develop skills for observing and identifying your local wildlife.


Session 3: Agri-Rewilding Process

Session 5: Applying Wild Finca Rewilding Knowledge

- Practical ways to apply rewilding principles to everyday life.
- Tips on creating wildlife-friendly spaces in urban and rural settings.
Live Component:
- Workshop on designing personal rewilding projects and sharing ideas.

- Empower participants to implement rewilding practices at home.
- Foster a community of rewilding enthusiasts.


Session 6: Treasure Hunt Review and Closing
Date & Time: BONUS session Sunday 13th of October (9pm CET)
- LIVE a review of everyones Treasure Hunt (NB You will recieve the Treasure Hunt on Sunday 29th of September. The Treasure Hunt is specifically designed to get you outside and engaging directly with the natural world, as well as creating opportunities to put your learning into practice). 
Activity:
- Treasure Hunt: Participants will receive a list of items to find over the two-week period. Items may include specific plants, animal tracks, insects, etc.
Live Component:
- Review of Treasure Hunt findings.
- Identification and discussion of items found.
- Closing remarks and feedback session.
Objectives:
- Encourage hands-on engagement with nature.
- Provide a fun and interactive way to reinforce learning.
By the end of the retreat, you'll not only have deepened your connection with nature but also gained actionable insights to bring the spirit of rewilding into your own environment.

And, for the duration of the course, be a part of an optional WFORR WhatsApp group so that the community can share Treasure Hunt updates, and get help with ID and any other questions that might pop up over the course (this will start September the 30th and be active for the two week course duration).
