 Fairy House Workshop - a wonderful two day workshop for majickal adults ( min age 16yrs)  In The first session we teach you how to create your own pottery Fairy House, returning on the second session a couple of weeks later to glaze/ colour your piece after it’s been bisque fired.  We will take you through the project step-by-step, to create your dream fairy house with moulds, stamps and free-hand making. Using all of your fairy imagination 🧚 During your return session, two weeks later, your pieces will have been fired ready for you to glaze. Glazing is the process of painting on different coloured effects ready for your piece to return back into the kiln and the finished creation will be ready to collect  approx 3 weeks later. Your finished piece could have the addition of an led light when you take it home, so you will see if the fairy folk have moved in ❣️ We’re so excited to share this wonderful, creative workshop with you x dust off your fairy wings and get out your wands ready for a majickal experience.  Suitable for clay newbies and those wishing to expand their handbuilding ceramics skills. Paint A Piece" (Furniture Painting Workshop)  Join us at Space 2 Make and unleash your creativity in our Furniture Painting workshop. Our taster session offers you the opportunity to bring your own small piece of furniture to our studio and learn how to revamp it with the help of our experts. We provide all the materials and tools you'll need, including a choice of colours (250ml tin) of Frenchic Paint™ to transform your tired furniture into something gorgeous. No previous experience is required.  This is the perfect chance for you to discover a new hobby or improve your furniture painting skills. You'll take away inspiration, practical knowledge, and a beautifully transformed piece of your furniture! The NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Decorative Finishing & Industrial Painting is appropriate for individuals aged 16 and over working in the construction sector who specialise in painting and decorating activity and are looking to become eligible for the Blue CSCS Card. The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence of individuals who specialise in painting and decorating activity. Upon completion of the qualification, you will be awarded the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Decorative Finishing & Industrial Painting. CSCS Cards We can provide CSCS tests and CSCS Cards alongside the qualifications without the need to attend the test centre. Speak with our friendly and helpful team for more information.

Our relaxed and welcoming venue at 70-72 Blackburn Road, Accrington BB5 1LE is the perfect place to get in touch with your artistic side. Choose a bisque to paint and spend an extended session indulging in your imagination, painting to your heart's content. While you are painting, tea and coffee will be available throughout the session to ensure that you remain refreshed and energized throughout. At 12noon, we will provide our Artisan lunch box to enjoy in between painting sessions. Feel free to arrive and leave at your leisure, and spend as much time as you want on your masterpiece. A £20.00 per painter deposit is required to reserve your space and cover the session fee (the cost of the paints, glaze and firing), plus your lunch with tea and coffee. Blue CSCS Card NVQ Level 2 Craft This qualification provides you with the opportunity to showcase their knowledge, skills and understanding in their chosen craft. You will have the relevant experience in one of the trade specific areas. You will work in one of the following areas: * Trowel Occupations (Bricklayer) * Painting and Decorating * Wall and Floor Tiling * Stone Masonry * Site Carpentry * Plastering * Roofing Induction - As soon as you register you will be given a dedicated assessor. They will arrange an induction and together with your assessor, you will get to decide on the pathway which best proves your competency. The induction is used to plan out how you will gather the relevant evidence to complete the course. During the course - The assessor will work with you to build a portfolio of evidence that allows you to showcase your knowledge, skills and experience. The assessor will also regularly review and provide you with feedback. This will allow you to keep on track to progress quickly. You will be assessed through various methods such as observations, written questions, evidence generated from the workplace, professional discussion, and witness testimonials. On completion - Once all feedback has been agreed, the Internal Quality Assurer will review your portfolio and in agreement with your assessor the certificate will be applied for.

Paint Some Pottery With Your Friends! These adult-only painting sessions run every month 6.30-9. 30pm. Pay for your chosen seat/table inc studio fee, welcome drink, half a large pizza, salad and coleslaw, dessert, coffee & mints. Select an item of pottery to paint on the night (sold seperately) and enjoy your evening. Our studio team will be on hand to offer advice, tips and suggestions on techniques that may help you where you want it. These evenings are relaxed and friendly and the ideal opportunity to have some fun in a creative atmosphere! 😁 Please note once painted your pottery will be glazed & fired and ready for collection 7-10 days later. You are welcome to BYOB on the night (glasses and ice provided at no extra charge). If you have a big appetite & would like a full Pizza please add this on at checkout. Menu will be sent with Pizza & Dessert choices once booked. The Pizza's are from Monte Cristo, a local restaurant.
