The William J Clinton Leadership Institute was founded in 2011 to support and develop the leadership skills of the Northern Ireland business community, as part of our commitment as a university to the pathway to peace.

Management Centre was established in 1993 to provide a range of management and organisational support to health and social care organisations. Since 1993, by developing a range of innovative, high quality and cost effective products and services, The Beeches successfully expanded its client base to include many other public and private sector organisations. On 1st July 2011 the Beeches Management Centre (BMC) including Nursing, Midwifery and the Centre for Professional Development Unit transferred to the Business Services Organisation (BSO). Following the transfer it was further proposed that the Nursing Education and Development Consortium (NEDC) transfer to the BSO. As set out in the new governance arrangements and management structure for the new arrangement in the BSO, it was decided two new units would be formed, one to provide Management and Organisation Development and the other Clinical Education to Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals, to the whole of Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI). Following a period of consultation with staff and other stakeholders about what the new units should be called the HSC Leadership Centre and the HSC Clinical Education Centre emerged as clear favourites. Both titles clearly identifying the nature of each unit and that they are part of the Health and Social Care Family.

New Wine Ireland is a movement of churches working together to change the island of Ireland through a network of church leaders, our summer conference and training events. New Wine Ireland is about an understanding that God is doing a new thing, involving the outpouring of His Holy Spirit. ‘And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.’

To sum us up in a nutshell, we’re a social enterprise (a not for profit organisation) passionate about helping children out of poverty and into a life of success and love. Founded in 2008 by David Montgomery, Goanserve is taking groups of volunteer travellers to help the children of Goa now. David’s Story It all started back in 2005 when my wife and I went to Goa for our twentieth wedding anniversary. Walking through a flea market, we stumbled across a campaign stall for a street child rescue organisation. That was the first time we met Matthew, the co-founder of the award-winning charity El Shaddai. Matthew invited us to his home for dinner that evening and while we chatted over our meal, he shared stories of the children in his care. El Shaddai was working tirelessly to provide food, clothing and shelter for the children but most importantly, the loving and caring environment they deserve. He encouraged us to sponsor a child, and we did. That child was Laxman, age ten. You can read Laxman’s story here.

YEHA is a Youth Education health and advice project based in North Belfast. The aim of ‘YEHA’ is to support young people aged 12 – 21 to overcome issues affecting their mental health and wellbeing and to promote awareness of youth health issues. The project offers a range of support to young people.
