Join the artists and discover how to create beautiful prints using natural dyes and tannins of gathered flowers and foliage from the hedgerows, meadow and flowers beds. In this workshop you will explore the use of paper in a boiling pot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Workshop programme: * 10.30am start with tea/coffee & cake and workshop introduction * Followed by foraging for suitable plant material in the field - please bring suitable footwear * A demonstration of the bundling process, create your own bundle using foraged materials , boiling or steaming the bundles * Unwrapping and discovering your results Each artist will lead a group of five giving plenty of time for individual attention. All materials will be provided and the workshops are suitable for all abilities; age 18+. Please bring a packed lunch; tea/coffee and cake will be provided. Workshops run from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm

Come and spend a day with on the flower farm I love sharing my flowers with others, offering experiences for you or to gift to friends or family as a unique and enjoyable day. It also gives valuable insight for those thinking of setting up a flower farm or their own cut flower patch. The day varies according to the season but it will always be an active day in the field gaining a real insight into the day-to-day work involved on a flower farm.  What to expect The day will begin at 9.30 am with a tour of the farm including the flower field, gardens and greenhouses. After coffee and a chat about your special areas of interest we will set to work on the project in hand. That may include seed sowing, dead heading, clearing beds, planting beds, flower picking or flower drying. Drinks and snacks will be provided but please bring a packed lunch so we can eat together and make the most of your time. In the afternoon we will tackle other seasonal jobs according to your experience and interests. You will be able to spend time picking some flowers to take home with you before the day concludes at 3.30p.m. It is a physical job so please be prepared for an experience that involves bending, stretching and being on your feet much of the day. Please dress appropriately for the weather and in clothes that are good for practical work, seasonally appropriate and that you do not mind getting dirty. Wear sturdy waterproof footwear, bring a hat and sun tan lotion. The day can be tailored to your particular interests. Upon booking I will email to discuss this further so I can ensure you get the most out of your day. This is a 1:1 experience but you can book up to 4 people in a group. Tulips in the Style of the Dutch Masters 5th May 2024 Sunflowers in the style of Van Gogh 17th August 2024 Dahlias in the style of Monet 14th September 2024 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What to expect on the workshop The day will begin at 10am with an introductory talk by Bryony about oil painting. Fiona will talk about the tulips we will be studying, how to pick them, the colour and form of the different varieties of the tulips followed by picking from the field and arranging in vases. Late morning Bryony will lead a guided step by step painting session. Lunch will be provided followed by an afternoon of painting. The day will conclude with feedback and a walk through of the paintings at 4pm. All materials, lunch and refreshments including easels and canvases will be provided Bryony Knight is a professional Artist, based in North Norfolk where she specialises in Oil Painting. Her work is inspired by the North Norfolk coastline, towns and woodlands where she lives - she enjoys using colour as a way to bring vibrancy to her landscapes. She became the UK's only Oil Painting Apprentice by Martin Kinnear in 2016, during which she was fully submerged into traditional oil painting techniques and studio craft for over 5 years. This course has been designed to guide the complete beginner or act as a refresher for those who may have dabbled in Blackwork embroidery in the past. We will cover the history, styles of Blackwork embroidery, threads and techniques.

Get together with friends and family and learn the art of building a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of the best seasonal flowers. Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros to make your bouquet and gain lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by tying, wrapping and presenting and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home and the ability to do it all again.

Our workshop packages are perfect for groups looking for an alternative activity to take part in as part of a corporate event, team building exercise, stag or hen do, birthday party, Christmas party or any other occasion you’d like to embellish with a unique creative spin.  Below is a list of ‘off the shelf’ workshops and packages we currently offer however each of these can be customised to suit your needs. Similarly if you’d like any of these experiences to come to you please get in touch as a selection of our equipment is portable. Booking a workshop as a group would give you a discount price as well. If you are more than 5 people, you can get it from 50£ per person (regular price 75£) for our usual 6h workshop.
