Eco Printing

Description

Join the artists and discover how to create beautiful prints using natural dyes and tannins of gathered flowers and foliage from the hedgerows, meadow and flowers beds. In this workshop you will explore the use of paper in a boiling pot.

Workshop programme:

• 10.30am start with tea/coffee & cake and workshop introduction
• Followed by foraging for suitable plant material in the field - please bring suitable footwear
• A demonstration of the bundling process, create your own bundle using foraged materials , boiling or steaming the bundles
• Unwrapping and discovering your results

Each artist will lead a group of five giving plenty of time for individual attention. All materials will be provided and the workshops are suitable for all abilities; age 18+. Please bring a packed lunch; tea/coffee and cake will be provided. Workshops run from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm
