Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio ( previously Endfield Farm Pottery ) is an Artist owned creative space offering pottery and art and craft classes in Golborne near Warrington, Cheshire. We have a range of pottery and art / craft classes and workshops, for beginners to experienced. Near Warrington, St Helens, Wigan and approx 20 miles from Manchester and Liverpool centres.

At Clay With Carole we offer group classes for all ages and abilities in hand building in clay. During this thorough and enjoyable 6-week evening course you will learn how to prepare your clay, and the main methods of hand building. You will be introduced to a variety of decorating techniques, ceramic materials and glazing. Each week you will make your original pieces using a different technique of hand building and through the duration of the course you can experiment with decorating techniques, application of ceramic materials, and a range of glazes.

Introduction to Hand Building and Sculpture and opportunity for others to increase skill -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SERVICE DESCRIPTION 8 week, 2.5 hour sculpture course. Get your creativity back! Hand Building and sculpture class for students with little to no experience and those with some experience in clay sculpture. You will learn the basics of Hand Building and sculpture in clay; how to create mugs, vases and sculptures from pinch pots, slabs and solid blocks of clay. In this course we will be working to create torso vases/wooden spoon holders, tea light cottages as well as sculpted plant pots etc. I love to work with different colour media and surface design. I encourage my students to do the same and have equipped The EPS with underglazes, slips, oxides and glazes to allow for a wide range of choices for decorating your work. I have been throwing and hand building for 20 years and learned many skills along the way that I will share with you to ensure that you succeed in this class and leave with pieces that you are proud of.
