• Who can join this event?

  This event is suitable for any current leaders/ managers/owners or Early Years Officers working with teams of people, no matter if you lead one other person or 50 other people this event is for you.

• Do you need to attend both days?

  No, you can attend either day or both days.  

• What time does the retreat start and finish at each day?

  The Retreat will be open from 9.00 each day and we will start welcome and Introductions at 9.30.  We will close the Retreat at 4.00pm each day.

• Can I access the venue if I do not drive?

  There is a local train station in Blackridge that is on the Edinburgh to Glasgow route.  We can then give you a taxi number to bring you to the centre that cost no more than £5.00 each way.

  
  

• Is the venue accessible for a wheelchair

  Yes, there is also a wheelchair accessible lift to ensure you can still enjoy one of the Leadership Lounge spaces.

• Is there an electric charging point for cars?

  There is an electric charging point available directly outside the venue.

• Who is the event organiser?

  Pamela Stein at The Leadership Wizard is the event owner.

  Pamela started the Leadership Wizard 3 years ago and is part of TW Associates.

  The Leadership Wizard is specific for those working in Early Learning and Child Care.

• Will dietary and allergy requirements be catered for?

  Yes we will ensure all foods are labelled and we ask anybody with dietary or allergy requirements to inform us before you attend.

• What i do we do if we are unable to access the venue due to the weather?

  We recognise that our retreat dates are in the Winter and our Scottish weather can be unpredictable if for some reason we are unable  to access the venue due to weather we will move the conference to another date.

• If I cancel do I receive a refund?

  If you cancel  more than 4 weeks from the start date you will receive a full refund.

  If you cancel 4 weeks before the event you will receive 50% refund.

  No refund will be given for any cancellations three weeks prior to the event.

  
  

• What should I wear?

  We would like you to wear anything you feel comfortable in.

  No shoes are permitted in the centre.  We give you a pair of fluffy socks with grips when you arrive.
