Speak First stands for the British School of Grammar & Speaking. The college started in September 2006 as a modern, independent English language school based in Whitechapel, East London. As the name suggests, we specialise in conversation classes and English grammar courses, namely: ​1. Callan Method 2. Cambridge First Certificate Exam Preparation (FCE) 3. Cambridge Advanced Exam Preparation (CAE) 4. IELTS Exam Preparation At BSGS there is a rich mix of nationalities including students from Spain, Italy, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Poland, Russia, Senegal and Thailand. Our diverse student population reflects the vast mosaic of cultures, languages, races and customs that London proudly embraces.​ ​We are known for our quality English classes, flexibility of study as well as offering the most competitive prices. We can genuinely demonstrate a happy and friendly atmosphere that is conducive to both learning and teaching.​ There are no specific English course start dates as they are continuous and ongoing. Therefore, students can register on any day (Mon-Fri) and at any time (9am-8.30pm). Students can also have a free trial lesson to see how good we really are.
