Earth Mother Sound Journey

Description

This will be a space to rest and receive your inner wisdom in a deeply nourishing and regenerative sound healing journey. Be guided with medicine drum, vocals, handpan and other tribal instruments.

The journey will be facilitated by Saraswati, Sophie and Catarina, 3 shakti medicine singers, who weave melodies which help you connect with the voice of mother earth within you.

As we come into the Autumn season, we offer you this space to start settling into your body and hear what is being asked of you at this time of the year. A beautiful opportunity to set your intentions, ask for clarity on your onward journey and let go of anything old that is no longer serving you. 

The sound journey will be about an hour, with an opening and closing meditation, so please do your best to arrive on time so that we can begin together. 

Do bring any warm cosy things that will make the journey more comfortable for yourself. Yoga mats and blankets will also be provided. 

There will be teas and some refreshments available in the space too.

Venue: 

The Healing House is a beautiful wellness venue offering yoga, wellbeing retreats and sound healing events. It is a cosy and nurturing space with underfloor heating to keep you warm in every season, and a peace garden outside to offer you a natural sanctuary away from the city bustle! 

Facilitated by: 

Saraswati SOUL, an experienced sound and voice healer who has been working for over 7 years with the deep energies of the earth and sound vibration. She combines her teachings in Buddhism, Yogic philosophy and Shamanic practise to hold safe, supportive and nurturing spaces to support individual and collective transformation. 

Catarina Carvalho, a classically trained singer and sound healer who’s been working with voice and wellbeing in recent years. She merges teachings from all around the world, leading Kirtan events and singing groups, currently focusing particularly on sound and healing for dementia.

Sophie Woodage, a musician, storyteller, explorer, and writer. She is passionate about connection with our authentic selves and the world around us. Alongside her dedication to the healing path she has a wealth of experience in the creative arts, community building and working with children in natural settings.

Sound Journeys:

Sound journeys, or sound healing, promotes deep relaxation by reducing stress and anxiety, helping to calm the mind and body. This practice also improves mental clarity and emotional balance, making it easier to focus and regulate our moods. The vibrations from sound therapy can even improve our sleep, helping us rest deeply and wake up refreshed. On a physical level, sound healing helps to release tension, reduce pain, and improve circulation. Overall, it’s a powerful practice known to promote inner peace and holistic health.
