About Scarborough International School Of English

When booking a teachers' course you will be asked to complete a needs analysis. Information on previous experience, competence levels and actual situation is important in order to ensure that the course focuses on the precise needs of each cohort of teachers. In some cases there will also be a pre-course task to complete. During the course each participant will keep a learning journal and be asked to produce an action plan. An end of course certificate is issued detailing course content, hours and dates, while continued post-course support is provided through social media and email. Please contact info@english-language.uk.com for more information Teachers' courses at Scarborough International School can be eligible for EU funding under the Erasmus+ Programme (Key Action 1 – Mobility of Individuals). Under Erasmus+ schools or organisations must apply for funding on behalf of their staff. The school/college must be registered on the European Commission Participant Portal and have a unique 9-digit Participant Identification Code (PIC) – this can easily be done by following the instructions here: http://ec.europa.eu/education/participants/portal/desktop/en/home.html#collapseOne Application forms must be obtained from the relevant national agency: https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/contact_en
