About Little Squigglers Peterborough

Hello I’m Sam, a qualified Primary School teacher with 10 years experience and a mummy to three beautiful children who love to explore, be challenged and get ‘hands on’ and dirty! When I first became a mum I enjoyed trying lots of different groups with my daughter but I was surprised by the lack of structured creative art and messy play groups that were available to pre-school children. I also noticed how lots of my mummy friends (and myself included) avoided doing creative and messy play at home mainly because of the vast amount of mess tiny people can make with a just few pots of paint! With this, and my education background in mind, Little Squigglers Peterborough started! I passionately believe children should have the opportunity to explore, learn and express themselves through many different forms of creative play. Art and Design is an integral part of the Early Years Foundation Stage as well as the National Curriculum, therefore these skills are an important part of a child’s education and it’s never too early to learn. “Little Squigglers Peterborough offers children and their parents the opportunity to explore, the inspiration to create and the freedom to enjoy a variety of Arts, Crafts and multi-sensory messy play.”
