<p id="isPasted" fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">A standalone 10-week course - 2 hours per week online with daytime and evening options - that will introduce you to the materials, tools, and techniques used in quilling and to Craft4Smiles C.I.C and our tutors. &nbsp; At the end of each session you will have a lovely quilled item to show family and friends or to display on your shelf! You will be told about the other courses we offer so that you can make an informed choice about further learning. Participants in this course often move on to our Introduction to Paper Craft and Mixed Media Course that will introduce you to the basic materials, tools, equipment and techniques used. Experience has shown us that participants for whom English is not their first language, have found that quilling has helped them improve their understanding and spoken English as there is a lot of repetition of basic terms including numbers, colours and directions. <p>During this course, you will develop an in-depth personal experience of mindfulness meditation and dynamic breathing techniques and learn to build the foundations of a sustained personal practice, with a view to applying this in your life. The programme will consist of 6 x 100-minute sessions on Monday evenings, with a focus on background information, personal reflection and - most importantly - practice. Each session will build on the previous one, and homework exercises and recorded practices will be given out each week. You will go away with a 70-page handbook full of background information, poetry and guided practices plus you will gain access to an online podcast with guided practices led by your Mindfulness coach. The course will be delivered on&nbsp;<strong>Zoom</strong>&nbsp;and you will have the opportunity to share experiences of the practices with a community of learners, all from the comfort of your own home.</p>
