On behalf of the Growing Younger and More Diverse Team, we would love to invite you to our leader’s brunches. We are partnering with Youthscape, Project 267 and The Haven to bring together paid and volunteer youth leaders from around the Diocese. In a Youthscape report on Y and C provision in the Diocese, it was found that "on the current trajectory, the average Sunday attendance of 0-15s in the Diocese would be zero in just ten years' time". We want to reverse this and believe with prayer, the right focus and working together, we can reverse this decline. We would love for you to partner with us as we make Growing Younger and More Diverse a priority. On Wednesday July 10th we will be doing something slightly different to the usual routine and gathering together between 12:00 - 15:00 over lunch in order to reflect and share around all that God has been doing in this season.  We would love for you to come. Family fun school BBQ

This one day course provides an excellent introduction to managing and supervising volunteers covering the skills, paperwork and processes needed to recruit, induct and support them. The course can be expanded to run as a series of half day sessions and can also be adapted to the specific needs of organisations who would like the session to be run in-house.

Try some riding with the experienced volunteer staff at the Cobbes Meadow Riding for the Disabled Centre.  There will be two sessions available - 10 - 12:15 and 1pm - 3:15 with lunch 12.20 - 12:50 for the two groups to get together. If you are booking for the morning session why not bring a picnic lunch and stay on a little later, and if you are coming to the afternoon session bring a picnic a little earlier and join the morning group for a combined lunchtime. Please note: you will be emailed a form that needs to be completed within 3 days of booking please. Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes early to ensure the sessions start promptly.  Cost is £12.50 per child riding
