Capturing data and evaluating with families: Afternoon Cuppa Session (Wales)   Monday 1 July, 2.30-3.30pm   Are you unsure about the type of data you could be capturing about your family visitors? Do you want to learn more about the evaluation you should be doing with families to inform your work with this audience?    About this training   This training webinar will be led by heritage consultant Ruth McKew, who works with museums across the UK to help them develop and connect with their audiences. Ruth’s current work ranges from activity and interpretation planning to feasibility studies and audience development and evaluation, including work with small and medium museums in Wales.    The session will help delegates to:   * think about data you could be capturing regularly about family visitors, * review your current evaluation with families, * explore a variety of data capture and evaluation technique ideas, * make plans to put the training into practice in their organisation.   Take a look at the full schedule. [https://kidsinmuseums.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Capturing-data-and-evaluating-with-families-afternoon-cuppa-Wales-session-schedule-final.pdf]   This training will be delivered virtually on Zoom over one hour.   The session will be delivered in English with bilingual slides, with an option to provide a Welsh language interpreter.    Run in partnership with the Welsh Museums Federation and generously supported by the Welsh Government   Who should attend? This training is aimed at staff or volunteers who work in museums, art galleries and heritage sites and are interested in reviewing or beginning their thinking about capturing data and evaluating with families to improve their provision for this audience. This webinar is for staff and volunteers from Welsh museums only.   Casglu data a gwerthuso gyda theuluoedd: Sesiwn Paned Prynhawn (Cymru)    Dydd Llun 1 Gorffennaf, 2.30-3.30pm   Ydych chi’n ansicr pa fath o ddata y gallech chi fod yn ei gofnodi am y teuluoedd sy’n ymweld â chi? Ydych chi eisiau dysgu mwy am y gwerthuso y dylech ei wneud gyda theuluoedd i hysbysu eich gwaith gyda’r gynulleidfa hon?   Gair am yr hyfforddiant hwn   Bydd y gweminar hyfforddi hwn yn cael ei arwain gan yr ymgynghorydd treftadaeth Ruth McKew sy’n gweithio gydag amgueddfeydd ledled Prydain i’w helpu i ddatblygu a chysylltu gyda’u cynulleidfaoedd. GYMD Leaders Lunch

By The Diocese of St Albans

On behalf of the Growing Younger and More Diverse Team, we would love to invite you to our leader’s brunches. We are partnering with Youthscape, Project 267 and The Haven to bring together paid and volunteer youth leaders from around the Diocese. In a Youthscape report on Y and C provision in the Diocese, it was found that "on the current trajectory, the average Sunday attendance of 0-15s in the Diocese would be zero in just ten years' time". We want to reverse this and believe with prayer, the right focus and working together, we can reverse this decline. We would love for you to partner with us as we make Growing Younger and More Diverse a priority. On Wednesday July 10th we will be doing something slightly different to the usual routine and gathering together between 12:00 - 15:00 over lunch in order to reflect and share around all that God has been doing in this season.  We would love for you to come. Date: Wednesday 10th July Time: 12:00 - 14:30 Venue: Zeo Centre, Beford Road, SG51HF Location and Parking:  Nearest car park is Christchurch Car Park located on Bedford Rd, Hitchin SG5 1JN Weather allowing, we will meet on Butts Close on Bedford Road for a summer picnic style meal.

London

We are a charity dedicated to building social capital and developing the wellbeing of individuals and communities in Cornwall. We do this by working in collaboration with a wide range of organisations to promote and support active citizenship and voluntary action covering the emotional, social, environmental and economic needs and opportunities in Cornwall. From our Head Office in Truro, and our outreach teams across Cornwall, we provide support to all aspects of volunteering across the county. As you explore our website, you will see the range of projects and services we are involved in. Values Our values below describe the way we behave towards each other, our partners, our communities and within the environment. The focus of these values directly relates to achieving lasting outcomes for people and having a positive impact on communities. Creative Being creative and always exploring the ‘art of the possible’ to find solutions to the challenges Cornwall faces. Thinking ahead about potential issues that could impact on the resilience and wellbeing of people and the sustainability of communities. We want to be ‘doing’ not just ‘talking’. Caring Being kind and having compassion for people we work with, both inside and outside our organisation. Seek to understand the issues that may cause people to worry. Having respect and empathy for all people, living creatures and the world in which we live. Collaborative Look for every opportunity to improve outcomes and impacts by cooperating with people and organisations. Understand the connections within the system and the positive impact collaboration can have on people and communities. Act with honesty and integrity when working with local people and partner organisations. Build trusted relationships with people and organisations. Challenging Be passionate and bold about the work that we undertake and open to new possibilities. Challenge ourselves and others to do better and work positively with the people and partners to identify ways to improve services. Focus on the mission of the organisation challenging established practices in order to achieve sustained outcomes.
