To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 46-hours of learning. This course for massage in clients with cancer is suitable for anyone who has undertaken level 3 body massage course training and would like to start treating clients with/in remission from cancer. Students will not only develop knowledge of cancer physiology and understanding of the role, skills and qualities of a successful massage therapist in relation to the oncology client, but will also be able to recognise the physical and mental health benefits of massage therapy. The course also examines treatment options and how they may influence the massage that is given.
