This Carbon Literacy Training has been developed in conjunction with the Carbon Literacy Project and funded by the Church of England Environment Programme. This bespoke training course has been designed especially for the Church of England to provide a strong grounding in carbon literacy to support clergy and key Eco champions in their work, as well as diocesan staff, and is a valuable professional development opportunity. Author of numerous books exploring feminist theology, liturgy and spirituality, and much more. Her academic posts are: Professorial Research Fellow at the Queen&#39;s Foundation, Professor of Feminist Practical Theology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam &amp; Visiting Professor at the University of Chester.</p><br fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">

Nicola will help us to explore how our language and imagery for God plays out in prayer and spirituality, taking into account feminist and other critiques of dominant patriarchal and hierarchical God language and imagery. The evening will include input from Nicola, use of prayer and poetry, conversation in small groups and interaction with the speaker. 

Nicola Slee is a theologian, writer, poet and spiritual director. 
Nicola has wide-ranging experience of adult education and has a particular interest in feminist theology, practical theology and the role of poetry and the arts in Christian education and life. She has written numerous books and articles, exploring feminist theology, liturgy, spirituality, and much more.
She is Professorial Research Fellow at the Queen's Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education, Birmingham; Professor of Feminist Practical Theology (the Queen’s chair) at The Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and Visiting Professor at the University of Chester.

What is The SHARE Project?

Through our four-week, live online workshop series, delivered via Zoom, you’ll discover practical tools to bring more calm and happiness into your daily life.

Weekly Workshops:  Each week, we’ll introduce and practice a new tool designed to fit seamlessly into your life (just a few minutes a day, I promise!). These are not your typical “luxury spa day” suggestions — because let’s face it, who has time for that?
