Kate is a business owner, qualified coach, consultant, facilitator, trainer, podcaster and public speaker with a background in learning & development, employee engagement strategy, continuous improvement, communications and marketing. After 25 years working across the board in blue-chip, non-profit and civil service organisations she now provides support to businesses looking to evolve and become great places for people to work in and with. 
Having worked with a wide variety of clients from school-age students to senior executives, she has been designing and running workshops, seminars and classes in person or via web events since she left long commutes and corporate roles behind in 2014 when she created her first two businesses. Her passion is in improving working relationships between roles and functions, supporting people to discover how to be their best selves at work. EFQM Certified Model Foundation Course

The EFQM Foundation course will help you to benchmark and improve the performance of every organisation by using the new EFQM Model and RADAR diagnostic tool, version 2025!
This is a two-day online course, delivered via a mix of work-rooms, presentations, videos, and one-to-one support.
This course is credited as part of the admission to the EFQM Assessor, Performance Improvement Practitioner or Excellence Practitioner courses.

Who is the EFQM Certified Model Foundation course for?

This is the essential course for anyone who wants to find out about the EFQM Model and RADAR and how these tools can benefit an organisation.

This qualification allows you to gain the knowledge required and is suitable for you if you don’t have access to assessors, haven’t started the role of an IQA or your Awarding Organisation do not require you to have the full award.
You will attend 4 workshops (delivered via Zoom) and will submit 2 assignments.
This course will enable you know:
The context and principles of IQA and how you can uphold them in your centre
How to plan IQA activity
The different techniques you can use to monitor quality
How to maintain and improve standards of delivery and assessment in your centre
The legal and regulatory requirement relating to internal quality assurance



Further Information
After completing this course, you can progress to completing the additional unit Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment. You will need two assessors, each with a minimum of two learners to be able to plan, carry out IQA using a range of techniques, provide feedback, and hold a standardisation meeting, You will be supported and observed by a Learning Advisor to help mentor you through to achievement . Please see Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
Once you are fully qualified, you can the progress to the Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice. This requires you to have responsibility for a team of assessors / IQAs.
