Paint Some Pottery With Your Friends! These adult-only painting sessions run every month 6.30-9. 30pm. Pay for your chosen seat/table inc studio fee, welcome drink, half a large pizza, salad and coleslaw, dessert, coffee & mints. Select an item of pottery to paint on the night (sold seperately) and enjoy your evening. Our studio team will be on hand to offer advice, tips and suggestions on techniques that may help you where you want it. These evenings are relaxed and friendly and the ideal opportunity to have some fun in a creative atmosphere! 😁 Please note once painted your pottery will be glazed & fired and ready for collection 7-10 days later. You are welcome to BYOB on the night (glasses and ice provided at no extra charge). If you have a big appetite & would like a full Pizza please add this on at checkout. Menu will be sent with Pizza & Dessert choices once booked. The Pizza's are from Monte Cristo, a local restaurant. If you wish to cancel with min 7 days notice we can offer you a credit to a future pottery & Pizza event subject to availability.

This workshop is suitable for anyone that has an interest in expanding their bread making skills and delving into the world of bread although it’s not necessary to have any bread making experience as you will be guided through the process of making some fantastic tasty Mediterranean breads.

1 hour and over · £13 per head Ideal for a smaller group to begin their special day with a fun bath bomb making workshop before continuing their day with a pizza or a cinema trip in town. Explore colours, fragrances and bath bomb making ingredients and decorate a bag to put your makes in.

This year, we will be hosting our summer school Monday 31st July-Friday 4th August, 9am-4pm at our studio: GDA, Unit 16 Paper Mill End, B44 8NH.  Each day, children will participate in a range of performing arts, including dancing, singing, drama and arts and crafts all around the theme of Roald Dahl's Matilda. We hope to put on a mini performance on the Friday afternoon which parents are invited to watch. This is open to ALL CHILDREN aged 6-13 years.   The cost to members is £25 per day or £90 for all 5 days. Children should wear their own comfortable clothing and can either bring a packed lunch or pre-order a hot dinner for £2. Hot food must be requested at least 7 days prior to the summer school starting and will vary each day but be items such as pizza and chips / burger and chips / jacket potatoes etc. Places will be limited but, going by previous years, extremely popular. To secure a place, please contact us clearly stating which date/s you would like. Individual days must be paid in full at time of booking. If you would like to do all 5 days, we request 50% at time of booking with the balance due 14th July. 

The Care Certificate is a Five-day, instructor led course in a fully equipped training room. We use a mixture of training methods such as hands on activities, group discussion, games and the use of equipment / technology to cover the different learning styles of the individual. Learners will develop their knowledge, skills and understanding around the 15 care standards. Each of the 15 standards have specific learning outcomes and assessment criteria. The Care Certificate provides care staff with the fundamental skills to provide a quality, safe and effective service. The course covers manual handling of people and objects which is a full day course using equipment. Care providers are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and as a result must meet the Health and Social Care Act 2014 (Regulation 18 Staffing).
