Discover abstract painting techniques & tools and create your own set of colorful bamboo coasters & trays set, guided by a professional Abstract Expressioni­st Artist, Anna Kosa.

Anna will provide you with all her painting tools, paints and an apron so all you need to bring is yourself in comfortable 'not super precious' clothing as acrylics are hard to wash out!

Do you have a favourite colour combo or would you like to match your new set with your Home Interiors? If so be sure to have colour reference with you!

Anna will provide you with colour wheels and primary colours on the table helping you with her guidance to create your very own colour palette at the start of the session from scratch!

You will receive your very own set of 4 bamboo coasters & trays to take home and a marinara/margerita pizza and a house craft beer to enjoy during the session.

You are able to choose to do the whole set or the coasters or trays only, either yourself or together with a loved one.

Please note due to the short time we have available during the session, varnishing is not possible on the day due to the fresh acrylics needing 24-36 hours (or up to a week if its a very thick layer), however if you pop in for a drink every second or last Thursday of the month either at 5pm or after 9pm and Anna will varnish your coasters and trays for you free of charge while you are enjoying a drink or some food at the bar. Do drop us a message if you are coming so we know to expect you!

We do not recommend to varnish them earlier than the recommended drying times as the varnish will stop the air to cure the paint and the art can get damaged and also do not use the coasters and trays without heat resistant varnishes as it will again, damage the art.

Please note even after varnishing the coasters will not be dishwasher safe nor fully waterproof (do not immerse in water!) therefore only damp cloth is recommended to clean, also please do not plece anything very heavy on the bamboo trays or they night break. Please get in touch if you require a heavy duty tray and we advise you for the extra costs and get one for you (they cost normally an extra £15/20, so we don't use them in sessions to keep the costs affordable.)

If you decide them to varnish them yourself, please make sure to leave enough drying time for the coasters after varnishing, before placing and hot or cold drinks in or the artwork might gets damaged.

Anna is using a special fast drying spray varnish, but for the heat resistant liquid varnishes available, It is recommended to apply three coats with approximately 5 hours drying times between layers.
