LANE 7 is opening its doors to our amazing neon workshop for a special event of Neon Naked life drawing! Join us in LEICESTER!!! For an evening of vibrant artistic fun. Come to a life drawing class like no other using neon reactive arts materials to draw inspiringly colourful life models.
Neon Naked will continue Covid protection actions. Changes to the workshop will be a smaller capacity, social distancing within the class, and hand sanitiser provided. If a lockdown is extended and the events are canceled all tickets will be refunded.

This class explores creative drawing, moving away from the perfectionist traditional teachings of life drawing. By trying out several different image-making techniques from continuous line drawing to pointillism the artists are encouraged to think outside the box and create more unusual imagery.
As described in TimeOut Magazine as&nbsp;'It might look like a Full Moon party, but this evening of sketching is an experiment in light, colour, and texture. The models become &lsquo;living sculptures&rsquo; covered in UV lights and reactive body paints. Trippy.'
Neon Naked is a unique life drawing experience that specializes in creating unusual and creative designs by using vibrant and bold living sculptures. By combining UV light and reactive body paints with hand-crafted flamboyant accessories it's easy to get the creative juices flowing.

The class starts with some quick and fun drawing exercises to get you warmed up. Then goes into longer drawing times with more exciting life images, experimenting with colour, light, and texture.
Art supplies are provided however please feel free to bring your own. With essentials such as pencil, paper and drawing boards but also you can use fluorescent glowing neon pastels and highlighters to make your art pop!
No experience needed. Help is always available if you get a challenging pose.
It's fun and friendly with a chilled out atmosphere. A great affordable evening out if you want to try something new.

Bespoke painting and sculpture workshops can be arranged or Francesca can travel locally to guide you in your own studios or locations.There are some fabulous painting and sketching locations for plein-air painting around the old Cortijo which is situated 750 metres high in the olive groves. With mountain views and a variety of plants and trees, which include oranges, lemons, pomegranates, figs and grapes. The eco-swimming pool is also a great place to sketch and paint with water lilies, iris, marginal plants and a small waterfall.Locations locally include the Watermill walk at Algarinejo, the lake at Iznajar, any of the local towns and of course further afield in Granada, Cordoba and Malaga.Francesca Wyllie is a very experienced tutor and has led many workshops with groups and one-to-one classes. No previous experience is necessary and tuition can cater for all levels. Just come with a positive outlook!Unlocking creative potential&nbsp;is her speciality and some workshops will be a special blend of loosening up artistic techniques, mindfulness and yoga to bring a holistic approach to the workshops. Courses are a minimum of 1 1/2 hours and are normally held on weekends.There will be a discount applied for group bookings fees of over 2 people of 20% and of 50% for over 4 people.Sketching&nbsp;&ndash; you will receive a free sketchbook, pencils and refreshments &ndash; cost &euro;30 per hour. Watercolours, Oils and Acrylics&nbsp;painting including Plein Air painting in the near vicinity will be &euro;30 per hour for watercolours and &euro;35 per hour for Oils and Acrylics and will include one board or watercolour sheet, plus use of materials and brushes. You are also welcome to bring your own materials too. Digital Painting&nbsp;&ndash; You may need to pre-install the Artrage app on an IPad or tablet prior to the workshop. Francesca can guide you with this. The Artrage app is normally available for under &euro;5 for IPad. Workshops are charged at &euro;30 per hour Life Drawing&nbsp;for groups with a minimum of 6 people. Price on application. All workshops will usually include helpful pdf guides for tips on materials and techniques.Other venues:Do you require a workshop to be held in a specific location or in your own home? This can all be arranged but may involve extra fees to cover travel time and fuel costs. This will all be agreed with you in advance.Francesca loves to paint on location and has held many painting and Ipad painting workshops. She is also available for artists&rsquo; talks.Accessibility&nbsp;&ndash; The studio does have a wheelchair-accessible ramp though some rooms do have steps up to them. You can cancel your tuition booking 2 weeks before your course and can contact Francesca to discuss an alternative date. Should this not be possible or a suitable date not be available you will receive a full refund.
