We have drawing boards, easels etc, but bring your own drawing materials (paper, pencils, crayons...). We meet every Tuesday (6.30 to 9.30pm), only stopping when the building closes for Chistmas and the New Year period.

Bespoke painting and sculpture workshops can be arranged or Francesca can travel locally to guide you in your own studios or locations.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">There are some fabulous painting and sketching locations for plein-air painting around the old Cortijo which is situated 750 metres high in the olive groves. With mountain views and a variety of plants and trees, which include oranges, lemons, pomegranates, figs and grapes. The eco-swimming pool is also a great place to sketch and paint with water lilies, iris, marginal plants and a small waterfall.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">Locations locally include the Watermill walk at Algarinejo, the lake at Iznajar, any of the local towns and of course further afield in Granada, Cordoba and Malaga.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">Francesca Wyllie is a very experienced tutor and has led many workshops with groups and one-to-one classes. No previous experience is necessary and tuition can cater for all levels. font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">Painting tuition starts at &euro;30 per hour per person and includes some materials and refreshments.<br fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">Courses are a minimum of 1 1/2 hours and are normally held on weekends.</strong></p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">There will be a discount applied for group bookings fees of over 2 people of 20% and of 50% for over 4 people.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">Sketching</strong>&nbsp;&ndash; you will receive a free sketchbook, pencils and refreshments &ndash; cost &euro;30 per hour.<br fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;"><strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">Watercolours, Oils and Acrylics</strong>&nbsp;painting including Plein Air painting in the near vicinity will be &euro;30 per hour for watercolours and &euro;35 per hour for Oils and Acrylics and will include one board or watercolour sheet, plus use of materials and brushes.<br fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">You are also welcome to bring your own materials too.<br fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;"><strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">Digital Painting</strong>&nbsp;&ndash; You may need to pre-install the Artrage app on an IPad or tablet prior to the workshop. Francesca can guide you with this. The Artrage app is normally available for under &euro;5 for IPad. Workshops are charged at &euro;30 per hour<br fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;"><strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">Life Drawing</strong>&nbsp;for groups with a minimum of 6 people. Price on application.<br fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">All workshops will usually include helpful pdf guides for tips on materials and techniques.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><b fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">Other venues:</b></p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">Do you require a workshop to be held in a specific location or in your own home? This can all be arranged but may involve extra fees to cover travel time and fuel costs. This will all be agreed with you in advance.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">Francesca loves to paint on location and has held many painting and Ipad painting workshops. She is also available for artists&rsquo; talks.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">Accessibility</strong>&nbsp;&ndash; The studio does have a wheelchair-accessible ramp though some rooms do have steps up to them. We will look for the most suitable venue for you and do not wish to place any barriers to you unleashing your creative potential.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">Cancellation Policy</strong></p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">Sometimes stuff happens and life gets in the way. You can cancel your tuition booking 2 weeks before your course and can contact Francesca to discuss an alternative date. Should this not be possible or a suitable date not be available you will receive a full refund.
