This full day workshop is designed to follow on and build on the learning from the 1-hour webinar to provide an embedded learning experience leading to acceptance and change of culture around neurodiversity. We understand the pressure managers can experience working within a neurodiverse team, this training is designed with managers in mind.

It provides a solid insight into the basics of good nutrition as well as providing practical guidance for how to put these into practice within a care setting. Learners will also look briefly at Food Hygiene. This subject forms standard 8 in The Care Certificate.

Group activities are designed to encourage and empower individuals to prioritise their mental wellbeing and recognise signs of mental ill health in both themselves and others. The session emphasises the importance of mental wellbeing conversations, self-care and how to access further support.
