NSCD is currently the only institution to offer conservatoire-level professional dance training in the North of England. The School’s programmes at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels nurture versatile and independent dance artists with highly tuned technical, creative and performance skills, ready for entry into the profession. Since 1984, Stage 84 has delivered quality training to young people in many performing arts disciplines. We offer multiple classes, spread across the week to allow students to train in the skills of interest to them. Lessons are delivered in bright, modern facilities fitted for purpose and situated very closely to each other. Stage 84 offers performing arts examinations with Trinity College London, LAMDA and the International Dance Teachers Association. We also represent young people with our own casting agency. Students have won successful roles in film, television, theatre, radio, advertising and in the music industry. A number of well known actors and actresses began their careers with Stage 84.
