Kinetic School of Performing Arts was founded in 2013 by Director, Choreographer & Teacher Kris Crowley. Kinetic are a Theatre School, Musical Theatre Company & Youth Academy working throughout Cardiff and the surrounding areas. Kinetics' aim is to equip performers with the skills and experiences needed to enter the performing arts industry with the ethos of training whilst performing. Providing our performers with a vast range of performance opportunities enables them to put into practice a wide range of skills whilst nurturing their confidence, stage awareness and ability. Each year across the company Kinetic stages a range of productions & projects at our resident performance venues at The Richard Burton Theatre at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama & The Atrium (University of South Wales). As well as staging our own full scale musicals we perform at concerts, charity events, festivals & work with other companies & organisations collaboratively. Kinetic provides itself on its high reputation and standards, working at an industrious pace where team work & an endeavour for excellence remains key in our core values. Kinetic performers (Past, Present & Alumni) remain outstanding ambassadors for the company and the performance work we continue to achieve. All the staff and workers at Kinetic are qualified teachers in their field and are Enhanced CRB DBS checked with many years of experience. We have trained, up to date First Aiders on site for every rehearsal & strict safeguarding measures in place.

We are The Printhaus. Cardiff's only community-based screenprinting workshop. A stepping stone for emerging creatives and a hub for established professionals - we are a diverse, friendly community, situated in the heart of Canton. We do quite a bit. From affordable workshop membership for people of all abilities, to courses, events and artists' studios, we like to keep ourselves busy. And on top of that, we're also a small-scale screenprinting company, working with everyone from local creatives to public sector organisations, as well as community groups. Why? Simply put - we love print. And we want others to love it too. Through nurturing up-and-coming talent and supporting seasoned pros, we've created an independent, sustainable and down-to-earth creative community that acts as a bridge between education and industry. And we're pretty proud of that.

I am a surface designer and have been designing and cutting stencils for almost 30 years - first for printed textiles, then for architectural sandblasted glass and currently for papercuts. I love simple, bold and graphic imagery and am inspired by primitive art, Scandinavian textiles, my Welsh heritage and the beautiful Gower landscape where I live, all mixed up with a love of illustration and design. Although I gained recognition for my distinctive architectural glass, undertaking large scale commissions for public and private spaces and meeting the Queen with my work, it is the hands on, simple and traditional technique of paper cutting which I currently find most gratifying. With just a scalpel, paper and cutting mat I create contemporary and humorous images which are designed to make you smile. My products sell across the world and in addition to winning an award at the prestigious Made by Hand exhibition I have been featured in the press. Everything on this site is designed or made by me and I source my products as locally as I possibly can, and always within the UK. I exhibit widely in galleries in the UK and attend many artist events in person as well as running paper cutting workshops from my studio.
