Heat Loss & Hydronics ATAG, Dunfirmline, Scotland

By Rob Berridge Heating Design Consultants

This day is for beginner and experienced heating engineers and designers. We will start the day with learning how to do manual, hand calculations of heat losses for typical buldings and building materials. We will then use the fabulous Heat Engineer Software to calculate bespoke building materials and fully understand a heating engineers requirement for accurate heat losses. We will use the radiator sizing software for any flow temperature and include correction values automatically. We will then get into pipe sizing, flow rates, pump sizing and specification etc using the fabulous IMI HyTools app and demonstrating some of their popular equipment. By the end of a fairly intense but hopefully fun day, you will have the knowledge to design the hydronics and calculate the heat loss of any system or building type. I personally use all of the above every day as a professional heating design consultant and there is no reason as to why you couldn't also do the same thing. #BeaPro
