I’m Julia and was born & raised in Berlin Germany and have moved to Liverpool to give singing lessons and to be part of the wonderful music community here. I am a singer, songwriter and highly qualified singer teacher & vocal coach and have a long teaching experience with teenagers and adults at music schools and in private singing lessons. I've been teaching singing for nearly 15 years, both privately and at music schools, and I'm regularly internationally on stage myself with my own music as a solo singer, or with other artists as a backing vocalist. I also work as a studio singer, composer, and conductor of choirs. I studied music education for vocals pop rock jazz at the University of the Art Bremen ('Hochschule für Künste', Bremen, Germany) and do regular training to apply and teach the latest vocal techniques. My last trainings were Complete Vocal Technique, Circle Singing and Inclusion Oriented Circus and Movement Education. Being an active singer and songwriter enriches my teaching, because I can teach you not only the techniques you need on stage, in the studio or when writing songs, but I can share my enthusiasm and love for the music with you. I have successfully prepared many singing students for auditions and competitions and helped them to win first prizes. Also, I've helped many students to pass the entrance exams at Colleges and University to study music. I have taught singers of all ages and levels - beginners, advanced or even professionals who just need support for a tour, a recording session or a specific concert.

The co-founders of Orange Beak Studio are: Maisie Paradise Shearring an award-winning internationally published author and illustrator Ness Wood an award-winning designer and art director Orange Beak Studio Associates: Alice Corrie is a freelance children's book editor working on picture books, fiction and non-fiction. Katie Harnett is an award-winning internationally published author and illustrator. Energy Kidz Ofsted Registered Holiday Clubs run every school holiday for primary school aged children.Breakfast Club In preparation for a busy school day, the Breakfast Club focuses on quieter activities, such as Lego, arts and crafts, puzzles, toys and board games. Children get dropped off by parents any time from the start of the session. At the end of the session Key Stage 2 children are released to make their own way to their classes, while Key Stage 1 children are escorted to their class teacher or a designated drop off point. After School Club In our After School Clubs, we pride ourselves in delivering a fun, happy and safe place for children to freely play with their friends, take part in activities, art and craft, sport, chill out or enjoy the variety of toys and games available. The club is set up to provide a fun and stimulating environment when the child arrives. There are activities such as Lego, puzzles, toys and board games so children can start playing straight away. Children are able to go outside as soon as possible each day (normally once everyone is registered and the playground has cleared). Children are able to flow between the indoor and outdoor area. Children can freely play outside, taking advantage of the school facilities including adventure play areas where they are available. About Sound Matters was founded in 2014, following a series of conversations between Mike Edwards (climate change and sustainability expert) and Harry Coade (music producer and soundscape recordist). These conversations, which took place in London pubs, cafes and galleries, were focused on how sound and listening could be used to create more sustainable and resilient futures. Mike and Harry discovered a unique and deep synergy between their disparate areas of expertise and began to further explore how they could apply this knowledge and insight. After delivering a series of lectures at leading universities in London, Mike and Harry began working on a number of global research initiatives, and academic courses, which were designed to discover more about how sound and listening could be used to understand the political, social, economic and environmental systems shaping the world. They also began working with a number of corporate clients who were looking for new ways of engaging their staff and stakeholders with the importance of creating business practices which were sustainable for both people and planet. From humble beginnings, Sound Matters has grown into an organisation which is widely acknowledged as a global leader in the use of sound and the art of listening to help individuals and organisations understand, and help solve, the most fundamental challenges facing the world. Currently a Post graduate Researcher at the University of Leeds, researching the most efficient methods of mordanting fibres with the environment and sustainability in mind, Debbie is also an Associate of the Society of Dyers and Colourists*. Her brand, The Mulberry Dyer, was established in the early 1990’s following the completion of the City and Guilds Art and Design – Embroidery course, with a view to producing naturally dyed embroidery silks, which at that time were unavailable. Meticulous research into dyes and methods used in the 17th century resulted in the accurate reproduction of these silks. This research was then expanded to cover all periods in history and for other fibres. Examples of work can be found in the V & A Museum, Hampton Court Palace, the Globe Theatre and other Museums and Historic Houses across the UK and Europe. A specialist in the dyestuff madder, she runs courses and masterclasses and is the first dyer for many decades to successfully reproduce the Turkey Red process in Europe. Research and experimentation continue for both historical and Industrial purposes, she is currently a Post Graduate Researcher at the University of Leeds. Environmental impacts of natural dyes and mordants, colourfastness (light, wash and rub) are key to current research. For several years a consultant to Industrial Organisations wishing to add naturally dyed products to their range. A contributor to the Encyclopaedia of Medieval Dress and Textiles c450 – 1450** and with several articles published in The Journal (for Weavers, Spinners and Dyers) a book is the next step.
