We reflect on our practises and discuss our experiences of home practice. We learn about aspects of stress reduction and the neuroscience of mindfulness and complete a new practice each week. Our new advanced workshop is for therapists who have used EMDR with quite a few cases and are confident with the basics and want some additional skills to work with a wider variety of clients and to further build on their confidence. The aim is to introduce participants to some of the additional ways of using the standard EMDR protocol with more complex presentations.

Simon Proudlock is a Consultant Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society working for the NHS and in private practice. He has spent the majority of his career working with complex clients. In 2012 he achieved the award for Innovative Practice by the Division of Counselling Psychology for his research in EMDR with people who are suicidal.
