This is a gateway course for all further learning in FD&FA systems.
At the end of the 5 days, Learners will attain an RQF Award in the requirements of FD&FA systems for non-domestic buildings BS 5839-1: 2017.
Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation courses (C01 modules 1 and 2) and/or industry experience with specific regard to more complex system design considerations.
It is a requirement within codes of practice e.g., BS 5839-1, and within legislation e.g., Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, that duties are placed upon employers and employees regarding health & safety and in particular electrical safety.
Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation module and/or industry experience and apply this to the maintenance of FD&FA systems.

This course provides the basic requirements for auditing IFD&FA systems to BS 5839-1 to certification bodies' standards. The course enables certified contractors to conduct objective auditing of their own systems.
OVERVIEW -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This course provides an explanation of the underlying concepts of the Risk-Based Maintenance approach, guidance on its relationship and integration within asset management and the overall risk management process. This course will show delegates how to develop an action plan for implementation into an effective and cost-efficient maintenance strategy.
