Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation courses and/or industry experience and apply this to the interfacing with door actuation mechanisms. The course provides an understanding of FD&FA door interface systems and applies this knowledge to the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of door interface / retaining / locking systems to the requirements of BS 5839-1, BS 7273-4, and other relevant Codes of Practice.
