Accessing the course

Upon purchasing Cass will be in touch by email with the login details you need to access this online workshop, which consists of comprehensive step-by-step videos, a kit list and helpful links to help you gather everything you need, plus instructions on how to scale up and down, equipping you with the skills to make books of different sizes with the same binding.

You will have continued access to the workshop with these login details so you can work through it at your own pace and return to it whenever you would like a reminder of the process. You will also be invited to join the Bookbinding with Cass private Facebook group where you can share your work in progress and meet other bookbinding enthusiasts.

Tools and materials

You will need to provide your own tools and materials to make this book, these are easy to source - Cass provides a detailed kit list which talks you through everything you need with links to recommended suppliers. You may find you already have some of the tools (awl, scissors, needle, craft knife/rotary cutter) and materials you need (paper, embroidery thread, leather/pleather). Cass is happy to help locate what's required and will be restocking kits to accompany this course soon.
