Zestlight Photography Workshops

I have been a creative all my life, starting with music and moving onto various visual arts as I got older. I first showed an interest in photography at 16 when our family got a digital camera for the first time and at 21 I invested in my first DSLR camera. I haven’t looked back. I started documenting family events and as friends started having babies, I started taking documenting their families, gaining my first experiences as a family photographer. I adored playing with children and taking photos of them for their parents to enjoy and decided to start making a business of it. Knowing I had knowledge gaps, at 24, I studied photography formally for the first time. Over the years I have experimented with various styles and genres of photography doing everything from event photography to more experimental photography including Light Painting and Levitation. I have had the pleasure of taking photos at prestigious venues and companies within the North East, including BBC Newcastle, Sage Gateshead, and Gateshead College.
