Absolutely fantastic charity that is transforming the lives of children and families in Bootle! The team are very supportive, encouraging and hard working, always coming up with new and creative ways to inspire and reach children and young people. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Ykids and they are very proactive and helpful with partnership working. Highly recommend for any children or families needing support in Sefton and any organisations who may want to link up!

Brilliant charity, doing great things for loads of kids and families in Bootle - and a privilege to work with them.

I reviewed this charity a week ago and asked a genuine question regarding why they spent over 80% of their income on wages. The response I received from their moderators was terrible and they tried to get my review taken down. I do still think a local childrens charity spending £307,000 a year on salaries is shocking and needs to be looked into. When people donate money they expect it to get spent on the children. Y Kids is a brilliant charity that I've had the pleasure of helping out a few times in the past. I'm an artist who's worked with them a few times and they impact they have on young people's lives in terms of raising there aspirations and pastoral support is fantastic. Can't speak highly enough and encourage anyone in the Bootle area to take advantage of this marvellous resource.

I have great experience partnering with Y kids over the years, helping us reach young people that were in the greatest need. They do a fantastic job helping the young people in Bootle and Merseyside reach the potential inate in every person regardless of circumstances. Ykids I salute you!
