  • Beautiful ground in a great location, the perfect place for any event

  • Fantastic day, good value refreshments and nice food

  • Bars still very slow compared to other sporting venues I've visited in last few years. Seem to be stuck in dark ages with the pump technology in use. 'Glasses' also have got worse this year with very soft plastic in use which is awful to carry. Penny pinching to the extreme

  • Good day in the sun watching the cricket. Decent bacon bap to start in the club cafe but the so-called "famous" Ladies' Pavilion was a big letdown. Cake that you couldn't see prior to purchase was served in a polystyrene container and was minute for £2.50 with tea at £2.00! Didn't live up to its reputation.

  • The ground used to be very pretty, but the modern stands are really ugly. Nevertheless, there are still great views of the cathedral and the entrance to the ground, through the complex which includes the Premier Inn, is rather classy. The beer selection wasn't what I'm used to at the Oval, but there are some really good pubs 400 yards away, once you walk back over the Severn bridge. I hope to come back in a future season.
