Winter Hill Golf Club

A beautifully located golf course in the heart of the countryside. Staff were great and couldn't do enough, arranging outdoor seating and umbrellas. The food was good, lots of choices throughout the day. Would love to come back to have a round next time, the grounds looked immaculate.

Dinner for 23. Well cooked and presented. Super view across the valley. Friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Not sure about the golf as I don't play!!

Truly enjoyed our Friday afternoon at the course. The panoramic views and rever scenes were beautiful, and my out of town guests got to see where I live, playing a sport that we all love. The course was in excellent condition and whilst balls were lost, we found it more manageable than expected. Thank you to Winter Hill Golf Course for giving us the opportunity to play.

Nice little course owned by the John Lewis partnership. Overall condition was great - fast greens and well maintained fairways (and bunkers, even in the current situation with Covid19)... Some nice holes, with the majority of the course being quite hilly - you need to be fairly accurate to stay on some fairways! All in all, well worth a visit. Will go back when it cools down a bit...
