  • Excellent school for newcomers to wing chun or advance martial artists. Sifu Lazarus’ tailored teaching really builds on your martial arts, self defence and self awareness. Private sessions offer those who want to develop further the opportunity to really hone in on their skills and personal style. A great school with great students and a great master.

  • Spent an hour in the Phoenix Cafe/Bar, inside the Abbeydale Community Centre behind Morrisons, with a friend, entering about 9pm. Had a couple of pints and crisps. Fair selection of beer, although somewhat pricey for a community centre. Nice decor with large TV, but lack of carpets and curtains make it noisy as there's nothing to absorb it. The club is thriving with plenty of activities you can join.

  • Wing Chun International teach a great Self Defence System. Their classes are a friendly way for me to stay flexible and improve my fitness whilst learning practical Martial arts. If you are serious about learning Kung Fu I recommend trying a complementary class.

  • Place is OK. Car park is a bit hit and miss. Needs re-vamping and lines repainted. Kids wandering around unsupervised are a danger to themselves but you can be sure the driver will be blamed 💀

  • Hired a hall for my son's party, we had a great time and it was haste free. Lost a star because there was no access to a kitchen with hot water for drinks. I would definitely recommend for kids parties though.
