  • Excellent experience studying at WSET. Very informative sessions, guided wine tasting and food/wine tasting with an experienced and engaging wine educator, and really useful and interesting study materials/work books. Super location as well - a short walk from London Bridge station, and surrounded by lots of beautiful cafes, restaurants and wine bars, not to mention a 10 minute walk to Borough Market or Maltby Street market (for more wine bars!).

  • WSET courses are generally great! Content is very well made and you learn a ton. BUT: Waiting 2 months for the results of a simple multiple choice exam (WSET 2) and up to 3 months to get the certificate is really not acceptable. WSET is providing a service, please learn how to scale exams as well, not only making money. If you do that I'll re-consider my rating. Edit: Response to the owner's comment. This is even more sad. • Do Level 2 online, don't bother with in-person learning at the London School. The teachers are uninspiring to say the least. The online canva resource had a female teacher listed but someone else turned up on the day, no mention of this whatsoever. Also no mention of the canva resource on the day either. The air-con was "broken" on the first day of the course too, sitting for 8 hours in a 26/28 degree classroom trying to keep a certain level of attention is not comfortable. I went from bein...

  • I studied the WSET level 2 course this January directly with WSET at their London school. It was a virtual learning course approx 6 hours a week for 6 weeks. The course material was good although there was limited human interaction and the class size was large. My biggest issue is that I've now been waiting 10 weeks for results of the online multiple choice examination. Their website says they're affected by covid and that results may take 6-8 weeks but I'm past that timeframe now and s...

  • I recently took part in Level 1 in Spirits, as someone not in the industy I found a useful introduction to spirit production and to the varieties on offer. For those with prior knowledge it may be best to consider moving straight on to Level 2. The tastings offered were good quality and the teaching was engaging and interesting. I felt well prepared for an exam with opportunity to take part in a mock just before helping my nerves and my expectations of the questions. I would recommend this to...
