Community is based on a balance of rights and responsibilities. Globalisation has been good at enforcing perceived 'rights' but has neglected responsibilities. One result has been that as consumers and communities we have been so distanced from the products that we consume we are unable to take responsibility for our choices. We encourage our customers to become directly responsible for the food they choose to consume. We also encourage them to think about their wider responsibilities for food, energy and waste.
