Steve and his team provide first class training in dedicated facilities with on site accommodation if needed. Sorry to hear he's retiring from the boat handling course, but still providing all the other facilities. Couldn't fault the course or the delivery.

Excellent experience from original booking/dealing with inevitable delays due to Corona Virus (thanks Izzie!) and through to superb instruction from David, who was clearly very experienced as well as patient and an excellent communicator. Accommodation was also excellent and thoughtfully set up - so 5* all round - many thanks to the Willow Wren team!

Willow Wren provided an excellent training for our Helmsman Two Day Course. Chris our instructor has a wealth of knowledge and provided a laid back attitude explaining everything about ropes, mooring, steering, locks, turning the boat, safety inter’laced with some interesting yarns about his days on the waterways. 100% value for money. The owners Steve and Izzie run a wonderful business in a beautiful setting. I’m looking forward to returning to do my Diesel engine training.

Just come home from a fantastic couple of days at Willow Wren. I took the boat handling course and my husband took the engine course. Both courses were great fun and informative. The instructors know their stuff! We stayed in their accommodation overnight and that was also very nice. A great room with everything you could need, and a seriously comfy bed! Everyone is friendly and you have the added pleasure of being right on the canal in a lovely rural setting. We are definitely booking in again!

I recently took the diesel engine maintenance course with Willow Wren and it was hands down the best thing I've done since buying my boat. Really nice training room, very well organised with three engines as well as a variety of separate components to look at. I have zero aptitude for engine matters but the instructor made everything so clear that I feel like I can now service my own engine without a problem.
