My name is Richard Jones and I am a small builder from the Wirral. I bought engineering bricks which are manufactured by Wienerburger to build a dwalf wall for a conservatory. The day after the bricks were laid the face surfaces of the bricks started to blow small round pieces of the brick off all over the walls. The wall looks terrible. I have been told that this is due to to much lime in the brick and when the brick absorbs water the lime expands and pushes the brick face off. I was then to...
