Widnes Golf Club

I booked a round on Thursday via an online platform.The experience was the worst I have had after playing golf for over 20 years. We arrive to no club shop open and no access code to the bar to speak to anyone, get a card, use the toilets, get drinks etc etc. We then play the round and find out during the round that 3 holes are closed. No email or phone call was attempted prior to the round to let us know it was not a full 18 we were paying for, we would if declined and asked for a refund if ...

Diabolical to put it simply. Would never return. The green was hard and not looked after at all. I much preferred my experience at other golf courses such as sherdley park golf course.

The members I met here made me feel most welcome. It was a great experience. The course is in great condition and the greens are absolutely first class. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. In particular my thanks to Steve and Barry for making me feel so at home.

Played tonight 17:50 tee off can’t fault the course at all perfect condition greens spot on only downside was the 17:40 tee off four ball right infront of us not letting us play through because they was in a comp but their was no one else playing the course in front of them so that made us wait at every tee box up until the 13th hole when we skipped a hole and they was very slow play to the point they couldn’t finish their round because it was dark when they got to the 17th so you can imagine...

Absolutely superb golf club. People SO helpful. Facilities are all amazing
